WHAT'S UP IN 2015?

I'm looking forward to an outstanding year of exhibitions, painting on location, classes, traveling and painting the best paintings of my life so far.  This will also be a year of exploration.  It's all very exciting and I'll try to keep posting events and updates.

I'm honored to announce I'm a newby with the Salmagundi Club of NYC, I just participated in their New Members Exhibition. I only wish I could have been there.  Their building is amazing and their galleries awesome.  I will visit this year. I will be entering their Members show shortly.

March 2015

I'm honored to have been choosen to present paintings about Balboa Park and the Marston House and Gardens for this years Centennial Celebration of the Park. The exhibit will be at the famous Marston House in August and September (more on this later)

Shortly I will begin posting my plein air work of the park and the gardens at the Marston House for early previewing on this website. (Click on Gallery and Click on Balboa Park) All paintings will be available this summer for purchase.

April 2015

Currently I'm getting ready to send my seascape titled, "Shore Break" for the Catharine Lorillard Wolfee Exhibition at the historic Deepwells Mansion in St. James, NY. Reception isApril 12 from 1 - 4 and if you're in the vacinity I hope you'll stop by.

April 2015

It's time once again for the Plein Air Convention in Monterey, CA  Before the convention begins, I've signed up to take a class with CW Mundy.  I'm delighted to have the opportunity to learn from someone I've admired for years.

If you're in the Monterey area look me up, say hi, and if you're a painter, paint along side me at the convention.

Upcoming this year

My 24 X 36 seascape titled, Doubling Up was chosen by Art and Beyond magazine to be featured on their inside cover.  Editorial and other paintings were featured in the Jan/Feb 2015 issue.   Due to this article and paintings shown, I have been contacted by a gallery in Vienna, Austria to do a show sometime in the future.  I will meet with the gallery owner this Spring.

If you are following me....

To help with your scheduling I'm going to post some of the shows I will hopefully participate in this year.
